How to Use

For Greenware

  • Apply a small amount of Better Bond to one surface.

  • Press pieces together gently.

  • Allow to dry before firing.

For unFired to Fired

  • Rough up your fired piece only in the area of the join.  

  • Add Better Bond to both the fired piece and the greenware piece.

  • Take a small amount of fresh clay, placing it between your 2 pieces and join.             

  For Fired to Fired

  • Rough up both pieces in the area of the join.  

  • Add Better Bond to both pieces.

  • Take a small amount of fresh clay, placing it between your 2 pieces and join.

  1. Joins/bonds metal clay components in wet, dry and fired stages, interchangeably

  2. Makes great paste 

  3. Makes syringe clay

  4. Use when reconstituting powder clays. 1 drop per 5 grams

  5. Use to coat clays before cutting on the Cricut

  6. Use to finish off the inside of rings and the edges of greenware; with a healing sponge or smoothing tool

  7. Holds embedded stones in place until they get to the kiln

  8. Holds embedded bails and pieces in place with fresh clay until fired​
